The Business Analyst in the Sales Operations Team at RingCentral will empower the Sales organization with metrics, tools, and technologies to enable a highly data-driven business. You will collaborate with Sales, Crediting, Compensation, and other teams to deliver and provide strategic data solutions designed to support Sales processes and operations.
The candidate proactive has superb communication skills, enjoys working as part of a team, can successfully multitask, and thrives on being successful in fast-paced environments. Successful candidates will have good interpersonal skills, a confident presence, excellent logical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams. The position entails meeting multiple deadlines, thus stellar time management and prioritization is a must.
Responsibilities: Building automated / semi-automated solutions for crediting and compensation reports and processes Supervising and improving existing data workflows and creating new data workflows to respond to the needs of the partners Driving data analysis, cleansing, and validation to deliver complete and accurate reports Delivering reports that are timely and appropriately presented to facilitate the data-driven environment of the business Establishing an effective process for data management to ensure we have a high level of data accuracy from different systems and get ahead of potential partner concerns relating to data discrepancies. Providing technical support for any data related inquiries within Salesforce, SQL, Alteryx, or other platforms Builds credibility and establishes a collaborative rapport with key partners within the organization. Drives continuous process improvement and standards development.
Must-have: Minimum of two years of relevant development work experience in the same field is required for this position. The ideal candidate is familiar with SQL or has prior database management knowledge; a strong user of MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in driving continuous improvement with a track record of achieving results.

Can work with attention to detail and excellence in troubleshooting and analysis skills. Self-starter/willing to take action: Can see opportunities for process improvement Naturally inquisitive and committed to continuous learning improvement. Nice-to-have: Basic to intermediate experience with Salesforce, Alteryx, Tableau, Hadoop.
