As the Operations Manager, you will lead the function that is responsible for compiling and delivering bespoke reporting to IMA clients and providing middle-office support in relation to listed trading on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities: Lead a high performing operations function, to consistently deliver against objectives, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our listed trading function and that the appropriate processes and controls are in place to maximise efficiency and reduce risk Leading the operation of middle/back office services that support the organisations listed trading function, including proactively managing the listed trade settlement process including engagement with Custodians and Brokers Providing support for investment accounting, corporate action processing, reconciliations and maintenance of Investment Book of Records Leading the oversight and monitoring of external service providers Ensure the provision of accurate, timely and consistent reporting to IMA clients and internal stakeholders Accounting for private assets transactions (including settlement), interaction with the custodian and investment teams Managing staff in, and contributing to, the maintenance of accurate records and coordinating the provision of timely and relevant reporting Contributing to the development and maintenance of investment track record information, including engagement with other teams in collecting and reconciling the data Oversight of compliance with documented controls to ensure a robust and efficient control environment including GS007 compliance Ensure Business Continuity Plans are updated in a timely manner and remain relevant To develop, improve and scale client reporting and to develop highly integrated systems and processes To develop team capabilities, including encouraging/supporting learning and development opportunities and building continuity and resilience across the team while collaborating with other senior team members
Key Requirements: 5+ years post qualification work experience in investments, funds accounting or custody role Relevant professional qualification (CFA/CIPM and/or CA or equivalent, desired but not necessary) Experience with Middle/Back Office and Settlements processes and knowledge of financial markets, instruments, corporate actions and funds management Advanced Excel skills Ability to work across functional business teams to achieve good quality outcomes Good relationship building, client service and delivery skills Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
