We are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Wellington, this means being part of a team that shares ideas across geographies and time-zones, to push boundaries and go beyond conventional approaches. Every day will be different... and provide different challenges and variety, overall, you can expect to be involved with: Apply principles and professional knowledge and judgement to plan and implement projects of reasonable complexity. Provide technical design advice for structures and multi-disciplinary projects of reasonable complexity. Gain experience in work planning and financial management for local, national and international projects Engage in business operations and understand the impact of works practices on the financial outcome of projects Build and foster internal and external relationships that lead to repeat work Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking, and consulting skills. Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development About you You love to learn and share knowledge and someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a qualified Structural Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving. You have gained your design experience through working on bridges or building structures and multidisciplinary projects. Having recently completed a graduate programme in a similar consulting environment, you will also have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally. How you work is also important to us we will value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team. You will also be working towards (or have already secured) professional certification/registration with the relevant industry body.
