THE JOB:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join us in this newly created position. This role will be based in... Alexandra come and enjoy all that Central Otago has on offer!
As a Senior Estimator you will be part of a Commercial Team and will be responsible for delivering successful tender bids in the best interests of the company. You will also be required to have the skills to add value to early contractor involvement through concept and budget estimating.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
A minimum of 10 years of tendering/estimating experience combined with a related qualification to Quantity Surveying
Technical proficiency and understanding of commercial, residential, and architectural residential construction
Experience reading and interpreting architectural plans/drawings
Strong computer literacy
Able to lead and be part of a team to deliver a common goal
Thorough understanding of New Zealand construction methods and systems
Candidates must have the right to live and work in NZ and hold a valid and current drivers licence.
