What you'll do with your time: Undertakes all components of case management, including: comprehensive assessment, risk assessment and management, recovery, and treatment planning Provides client-centred care, utilising evidence-based treatment strategies including, where appropriate, talking therapies Coordinate care at the right time with input from external providers Assisting across the wider team where needed
Our Child... and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team is currently looking for skilled and passionate mental health professionals. The roles are vital to the mental health of our children and young people across the West Coast as you will be supporting them through their journey along with their whanau. This role will be working within the community and within our integrated model of care. There will be opportunities and support for professional development and ongoing role development.
We are looking for someone with the following traits: Excellent assessment, communication and relationship building skills Passion for child and youth mental health Flexibility to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team Understanding and application of the principles of the treaty of Waitangi, with a culturally safe and appropriate approach to practice Commitment to ongoing professional development A strong understanding of M?ori health inequity and M?ori population need Understanding of contemporary approaches to mental health and wellbeing Clean and full driver's licence as you will be traveling in DHB cars.
