Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst for our well-respected ICT Team.
This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Support Centre, located adjacent to the stunning First Church.
Applicants must hold a full driver's licence as PSO has over 20 locations throughout Otago and some travel will be required to support these sites while taking in the stunning Otago landscapes.
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the management and support of our corporate systems, data, information and core business platforms, including those systems hosted in our cloud platforms.
The successful candidate will ensure the organisation maximises its use of the core business platform Microsoft 365 and will be a passionate advocate for consuming even more M365 services as we continue our M365... journey.
The role is central to the management of PSO's business applications and data, together with the oversight and ongoing development of and support for the organisations M365 platform. For those with an ITIL bent, the four key areas the Senior Systems Analyst will manage are:
1. Applications Management
2. Release Management
3. Information Management
4. Document Management
The role will also provide support and advice to our wide range of users, as a small team we each need to ensure our users get the support they need. The role will be instrumental in the application-related aspects of designing, testing, operating, and improving IT services, while also ensuring the platforms are operating at their peak. The role will also provide support to business projects, as PSO embark on a number of exciting business systems upgrades and replacements.
Skills and Experience Exemplary and friendly user support A proven passion for all things Microsoft, M365, Azure, with Power BI being an advantage Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a similar field, and or ICT related industry training/qualifications Expert skills with PowerShell, scripts and task automation Networking skills would also be desirable PSO is a values-based organisation, and this role will suit a skilled and experienced IT professional with developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
