Dunedin HospitalÂ’s Ward 3 Surgical is now accepting applications from Registered Nurses looking to join a hardworking and supportive team on either a fixed term or permanent basis.

Ward 3 Surgical is a recently formed and refurbished 54 bed specialist surgery ward covering Acute and Elective Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial areas – this is certainly a dynamic and interesting area to work.
It goes without saying that an opportunity such as this lends itself to enhancing professional development and a well-rounded skill set.
About You
The successful applicant will need to have current surgical nursing experience, ideally in the specialities listed above, be able to demonstrate resilience, wonÂ’t mind putting in some hard work and be open and willing to up-skill as required.
Of course youÂ’ll also be a confident communicator with a friendly demeanour and someone who values patient centred care.
In return youÂ’ll gain great work experience in a multidisciplinary team and the opportunity to either showcase or develop your skills in a variety of surgical specialties.
At the time of application you must be registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council and have current eligibility to live and work in New Zealand.
