Class 4 Driver: Citycare Water, Dunedin Job description
Class 4 Driver
As a Class 4 Driver in Citycare Water in Dunedin, you will be performing a variety of tasks as part of the Dunedin Water team assisting with the maintenance of DCC's Water Network.
This would include the unblocking and flushing of Dunedin's Wastewater and Stormwater Networks, as well as Hydro Excavation.
Once trained you will have the ability to operate a Combo (Jetting/Hydro excavator) truck and other heavy vehicles used in infrastructure maintenance.
Skills and Experience Required
Class 4 full licence required as a minimum
WTR endorsements an advantage but not essential
Proven experience including trenching & excavation, laying pipes, working around services and reinstatements is desired but not essential.
Formal qualifications in Water and Wastewater Reticulation and/or Engineering/Construction will be an advantage
You will be safety and quality focused, physically fit, able to work independently as well as part of the wider team, able to... work overtime hours from time to time, and willing to do the occasional night work.
