Credit Portfolio Sr Analyst / Consumer Risk Mexico City The Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.
Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and work-flows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management Use of analytical techniques to develop customer risk strategies & segmentation schemes, profiles, and other analytically based tools for driving existing customer management within the credit cards portfolio. Use of data to structure and generate recommendations for the business in terms of risk management Create integral strategies for the Credit Cards Portfolio, review the P&L dynamic and create business... cases Test and evaluate strategies to find opportunities for growth/mitigation Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats and prepare risk management presentations for senior management Assist internal businesses in the ongoing management and validation of their products Part of the interview will be in English as the candidate is expected to manage a small team in India
Qualifications Bilingual: English and Spanish (Part of the interview will be in English as the candidate is expected to manage a team in India) 5-8 years of relevant experience 3+ years of experience in a data driven analytical position Experience in consumer Credit risk will be a plus Hands-on experience with programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python or R (all work will be on SAS) Understanding of Consumer Credit Profit and Loss drivers is preferred Excellent written and communication skills, good presenting skills is a desirable plus
Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
