We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Junior Legal Counsel to conduct and support contract negotiations with clients to promote product and services sales while minimizing company risk.
Working in a dynamic international team across different global markets, the Junior Legal Counsel will report to the Creditinfo Group Senior Legal Counsel. The primary focus of the role will be on commercial law and contract management, but this role will also assist the Senior Legal Counsel in a variety of other legal matters for the Company and its subsidiaries as required. Key tasks will be: Oversee and manage the Companys various contract activities that deal with customer contracts as well as vendor/supplier relationships and subcontractors. Draft, evaluate, negotiate, review and execute a wide variety of commercial agreements, documents, formal letter on behalf of the Company including but not limited to: Non- Disclosure Agreements Software... License and Services Agreements Consultancy Agreements Advise the business on its contractual rights and obligations on an ongoing basis, including when potential disputes arise and drafting and executing contract notices, letters, etc. Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress, monitoring expiration and renewal terms. Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters. Work closely with compliance and accounting functions to ensure customer adherence to contractual obligations and proper revenue receipt. Enforces contract administration policies and procedures. Communicate and manage relationships with external legal advisors and services as required for the business. Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams through the contract process from opportunity assessment and tenders through contract negotiation, signing and post signing activities; representing the company at roundtable of negotiations or at meetings and cooperating with the business and working groups for optimizing legal support to the business. Work collaboratively and build strong business relationships with Creditinfo colleagues on business development and commercialisation opportunities. Apply a broad business perspective to legal analysis to devise innovative solutions that meet client needs internally and externally. Represent the Legal Dept. at meetings, conferences and events as required. Conduct legal research and communicate findings and recommendations on various legal problems. Monitor and inform the business on international legal developments regarding credit information registers, consumer directives, payment directives. Act discreetly and in accordance with professional ethical duties.
Mandatory Be based and eligible to work in Monaco. Excellent command, both written and verbal, of English language. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels within a multicultural organisation both internally and within client organisations. A strong attitude to successfully negotiate and execute contracts, as well as an understanding of when to walk away and when to stand ones ground. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and exercise sound judgment while working autonomously. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Minimum of 2 years knowledge and experience in a similar role A flair for delivering effective presentations. University Degree or similar qualifications in relevant discipline
Highly desirable Experience in the wider Financial Service Industry. Additional language skills in French, Portuguese or Arabic would be advantageous.
