Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for executing on muliple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories including onboarding, offboarding, Workday data maintenance, reporting, metrics and more in Morocco. Develop an in-depth, wing-to-wing knowledge of company HR operations systems & processes. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements. Promote “Best in Class” service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
• The individual will be part of the People Operations organization across Africa, with focus on Moroccona operations which includes a broad scope of services viz: On-boarding, Off boarding employee lifecycle (including social security), will work... closely with the Immigration team, and with payroll for Pay & Ben consolidation, adherence to local Labor Laws and People Operations operations integration for all GE businesses in Morocco
• The incumbent will report to the People Operations, Africa Sub Regional Leader.
• Develop a strong working relationship with critical stakeholders in the HR community, ensuring two-way communication and early identification of needs & proactively requesting feedback on service quality and partnership
• Individuals who are responsible for responding to employee and HR service ticket requests, direct entry and processing of transactions into HR systems, and management of escalations and questions. Includes those who lead Service Delivery teams and/or the operations for such teams. Includes areas such as: Reporting, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, business relations, escalations, etc. For use in Shared Service teams only.
• Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
• There are a number of external service providers this role will engage with including payroll, pension, flexible benefits, Immigration and vendors for company items administration.
• Be the in-country point of contact for administration of HR related services with the local regulators (e.g. social security, labour authority, etc)

Required Qualifications
• This role requires basic experience in the Human Resources & HR Operations Service Delivery. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Fluent in French, Arabic and English

• Strong operations skills
• Experience in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment
• Experienced in diving adherence to SLAs’.
• Understanding of HR issues is important but experience of delivering transactional services in a shared service context is key.
• Good networking skills with experience in operating in complicated matrix environment and able to build good working relationships both internally and externally.
• Tenacious, resilient, and flexible, should be capable of managing a complex and frequently changeable workload.
