They must have experience in smart phone data collection and programs includingREDCAPTM and/or equivalent medical database In addition, they must have experience in research and data-handling environment. They must possess skills in website creation and maintenance. Responsibilities Ensuring high data quality, integrity, confidentiality and safe custody Thoroughly clean data to discard irrelevant information and prepare the data for preprocessing and modelling Extracting huge volumes of structured and unstructured data, and querying structured data from DHIS databases using programming languages Gathering unstructured data through web scraping and surveys Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to determine how to handle missing data and to look for trends and/or opportunities Transforming raw data into tangible data to support analysis and development of data solutions Support data analysis for various... programs run by the center Supporting the development of custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets Supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of advanced statistical models and approaches for application in the project Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes Performing ad-hoc data mining and exploratory statistics tasks on very large data-sets related to the project Providing daily updates around the project data outcomes and develop SIR models that arein line with this Preparing reports on progress of development tasks Be available for meetings throughout the projects data analysis process, to discuss the progress of the analysis with the Principal Investigator Any other duties assigned by the supervisor Job Requirements Required education Required relevant work experience Required languages Nairobi Kenya
