Ø Ensure that adequate stocks of drugs are available for both inpatient and outpatient

Ø Raise order for required drugs
Ø Receive drugs and ensure that the drugs are of good quality and long expiry
Ø Constantly check in store and pharmacy for slow moving drugs and short expiry and alert the doctors and clinical officers to ensure that the drugs mentioned are being utilizes to avoid losses
Ø To keep proper records for drugs
Ø Ensure that the night cupboard is well stocked and checked constantly to avoid inconvenience
Ø Filing of daily prescriptions
Ø Entering of new drugs into the system
Ø Assisting in receiving drugs together with accounts personnel thereby enhancing good accountability Nairobi Kenya
