Job Description
POSITION Full Time JOB LEVEL Mid-level
JOB DESCRIPTION Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports Administering medication to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions Recording patient vital signs and medical information Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or change in patient condition Administering non-intravenous medication Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case... history. Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.
Required Qualifications & Experience Diploma with 2 years relevant working experience Must be computer literate Must hold a current valid license to practice.
Those with knowledge of following will have added advantage: Professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques used in the care and treatment of psychiatric patients. Social, psychological, and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders. Medical and psychological terminology. Theories, principles, and techniques of group and individual psychotherapy.
