Your Role and Responsibilities
?This is a position in Kyndryl Japan.

Taking functional direction from the Director of Kyndryl Geography Compensation, the successful candidate :

? will be responsible for ensuring global Kyndryl Reward strategy & practices - covering both employee and executive compensation - are embedded and followed within their market
? will interlock with the Kyndryl Reward CoE with respect to the operational management of compensation programmes and case handling
? will use data & analytics to pro-actively identify issues / trends and propose solutions to the business... as appropriate providing guidance on implemention, initiatives and programs allowing business leaders to maximize effectiveness in their respective markets
? will build up an external network to build eminence and gain understanding of local market practices, in support of ensuring Kyndryl practices remain contemporary and appropriate
? understand and keep abreast of local legislation/regulations, working with CoE to develop processes to ensure appropriate compliance and reporting
? will represent the market within the Reward function and highlight country/market specifics which need to be accounted for in global compensation design
? will work closely with the Kyndryl Japan HR Leader & HR Business Partners to promote understanding of compensation practices and how these are integrated into Kyndryl's HR Strategy
? will provide advise & counsel on highly complex cases
? will partner with other Kyndryl functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications, payroll, and financial reporting/budgeting as appropriate to their market
? will have the opportunity to participate in global projects including policy & practice design
? will be an active and contributing member to the local market HR community including providing insight to interpret policies when deep specialization is needed
? will represent the market within the Reward function and highlight country/market specifics which need to be accounted for in global reward design, including local market compensation benchmarking input where available
?will report to the local in-country Market HR Leader for country reporting purposes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in HR professional role
- Strong and proven analytical skills
- Good understanding of local HR policies/practices
- Fluent in Japanese and English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in HR compensation/benefits specialist role
- Experience of working in global HR matrix organization
