Lead all EHS activities at Sasakami site and work together with EHS site members as the team.
Comply Japanese regulatory and DuPont safety standards, collaborate with Asia Pacific region E&I EHS Group and carry out the effective and efficient... EHS activities to protect all people's safety and health working in the site.
As Site EHS leader at Sasakami Site EHS leader has the responsiblily for all EHS activities. Communicate closely with business/production leaders and also site leader for EHS improvement at the site. Development site EHS members competency and capability for their future career. Work with E&I EHS Japan Hub Leader to enable the E&I Global / AP team program to be effectively implemented at the site. Develop Site Sustainable program.
As a member of Sasakami Site EHS Create and update EHS Site Rule and procedures for Sasakami site in accordance with Japanese regulatory and DuPont EHS standards Implement new and refresh training for site personnel in accordance with site rules. Ex) First day training of new comer at the site, Safety training for contractors, ergonomics training, etc. Make the materials with details at the EHS event happened, investigate the case, and make the corrective and preventive action plan. Safety equipment check at the site. Check the suitability of the Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) used on the site. Consultation anything about EHS related issues. Respond to internal and external audits related to EHS ex) 2nd party audit in DuPont/ISO audit, etc.
Specific competencies required
Essential: BS/BA degree or equivalent is preferable Good communication skill in oral and written manners- including reading and writing in English Ability / or a developing competence in the following: Conduct EHS activity together with site EHS leader and group members. Initiative and self-motivation Accuracy and attention to detail Professionalism Proactivity, creativity and innovation Computer literate Logical, methodical and analytical thought processes Technical problem solving skills Planning, time management, organizational skills and influencing skills Demonstrate ability to effectively develop process/program improvement opportunities across functional and regional boundaries Key relationships
Internal: Daily contact: Team Manager Japan Hub Leader, Sasakami Site EHS members and KSP Site EHS, who are in E&I EHS group. Frequent contact : Sasakami site Leader, Production leader, R&D leader Usual contact : other Sasakami personnel
External: Local government offices : Fire station, labor office, environmental office, etc.
