You are accountable for the provision of excellent IT service to the business for R&D Japan especially for R&D Japan local applications. You are responsible for management of the service portfolio, roadmap and all service activities; ensuring services are fit for purpose, delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements and maintained in line with evolving business requirements.
You will work collaboratively across business Subject Matter Experts, outsource contractors, global offshore support teams, IT infrastructure team and vendors to successfully deliver continuous improvement and value.
A drive and passion for improving the service experience for end-users and getting it right in IT operations is key to the role. Candidates will be self-starters with strong organisational skills, expertise in ITIL service management and vendor management.
Capability Service Manager is responsible for: Deliver... End-to-End IT services for R&D Japan all functions. Manage local IT outsource contractors & collaborate effectively with Japan local IT & offshore IT team. Develop IT roadmap and manage lifecycle management of service portfolio aligned to IT & business strategy with a Business Relationship Manager. Manage application risk, along with communicating and agreeing the aggregated risk position with the IT Capability Lead and business sponsor. Act as critical issue point for key service support processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management. Lead compliance with GxP to ensure control frameworks and testing are in place and AstraZeneca remains compliant. Solve complex IT incidents collaborating with local/global IT & solution vendors. Manage service contracts with solution/support vendors. Deliver local application servers with global infrastructure IT team. Deliver end to end user experience and satisfaction. Drive continuous service improvement aligned with busines strategy. Drive lower TOC (Total Cost of Ownership) and manage system lifecycle aligned to IT roadmap, budgets and business priorities. Provide technical consultation for R&D Japan. Maintain and apply knowledge of application technologies and industry trends/changes external to AstraZeneca.
