Business Development Manager Kingston As Business Development Manager you will be tasked with growing top-line revenue, market share and profitability. This will involve strategic planning, appropriate market positioning and building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Understanding and anticipating customer needs and making new product suggestions based on the needs of the customers and market opportunities will also be key to your success.
Business Development Reach and identify new business opportunities- including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services. Examines the risks and potential for business opportunities Work with Executive Team (Senior Management) to develop a marketing strategy for the business Develop and implement promotional and marketing strategies and... activities Develop and track the effectiveness of Marketing Campaigns Work collaboratively with a Marketing Team or Agency (third party if applicable) in writing and delivering content for social media marketing initiatives. Manage the design and production of promotional materials for approval by Senior Management: i.e., website, brochures, etc.
Sales and Marketing Design and implement a strategic sales and marketing business plan that expands the companys customer base and achieves a solid presence in our target markets. Achieve annual growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team and sourcing key commercial clients in the agricultural, real estate development, hardware supplies and retail space. Identify emerging markets and market shifts and adjust strategy accordingly. Be aware of competitive product developments and competitor status. Establish sales objectives by developing an annual sales budget including expected sales volumes and profit margins for existing and new products and the seasonality of each product. Proactively pursue new business initiatives (internal) and sales opportunities (external) Recommend pricing strategies to maximize sales and profit margins Secure long term supply contracts with large customers as a competitive barrier to entry. Take responsibility for achieving objectives, customer service satisfaction and account profitability

Educational Requirements, Qualifications & Experience Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or postgraduate degree in Economics or related field required Over five (5) years prior experience in business, management or related field Three (3) five (5) years experience in sales and marketing Certification/training/experience in strategic management would be an asset Ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks Experience in negotiating deals Strong competence with MS Office Suite of software (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Outlook Kingston Jamaica
