JOB SUMMARY: The IT Business Analyst SAP will provide process and system support to our internal Behr customers in various countries. This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in the US and India across functional areas and partner with the business to provide assistance to functional users and act as liaison between the business and technical teams. This includes gathering business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, recommending and implementing solutions by configuring SAP and working with ABAP developers and other technical teams to meet ongoing business needs. Must be ready and able to work flexible hours as needed
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshooting SAP system issues reported by the business users via Service Now Incidents and providing resolutions Work closely and effectively with other ITBAs (US and India) and the business units among all functional areas and levels of management Day to day... support of departmental functions for the FICO modules (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA CO-CCA & CO-PCA); evaluate system requirements and implement solutions; configure, modify and coordinate testing. Support different Finance domains i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Product Costing Resolve issues related to business use of implemented SAP modules and/or processes by working with ITBAs, systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions. Create and provide quality training material and deliver training for user assistance and system usage. Work closely with the SAP ABAP team to build technical solutions as per the business requirement Researching and monitoring FI related issues for Sales & Purchasing integrated processes Work in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in development of technical and workflow solutions. SAP FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) Support experience would be a plus.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: (Overall experience and years of experience in particular skill) Bachelor's degree required in Commerce (followed up with either CA/ICWA/MBA) 5-7 years functional SAP experience in SAP FICO modules with knowledge of OTC & MM integration processes Experience in building & supporting financial interfaces like banks, EDI, third party etc. Experience with electronic invoicing for Latin American countries, specifically, Mexico and Chile Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment Proven ability to manage small to medium size projects Audit experience a plus BI/Analytics experience a plus
