We are on the look-out for a Franchise Manager to join our Ireland Franchise Team at PepsiCo!

What will you be doing?

As the Franchise Manager, you will leverage your skills to help develop and evolve the long-term Franchise PepsiCo Ireland vision & strategy

It’s expected that you act and behave as the ‘owner’ of the Ireland Franchise business – monitoring and proposing plans and continuous improvement of the business. In this role you will be responsible for developing and evolving the long-term Franchise PepsiCo Ireland vision & strategy for all LRB categories, brands and sub-markets in cooperation with Bottler and key... PepsiCo stakeholders. Lead our strategic approach to win and retain Top international Customers, and you will form a key part of Po1 Leadership team with shared remit for strategy, direction and people agenda for the full Po1 business.

In more detail you will:
• Strategic approach:
• Develop and evolve long-term Franchise PepsiCo Ireland vision & strategy for all LRB categories, brands and sub-markets in cooperation with Bottler and key PepsiCo stakeholders
• Implement and embed PEP Franchise strategies into the Irish market and with the bottler
• Manage full governance agenda in conjunction with relevant finance and franchise stakeholders (BDAs, EBAs, GCS)
• Lead strategic approach to win and retain Top international Customers for Irish BU
• Form key part of Po1 Leadership team with shared remit for strategy, direction and people agenda for the full Po1 business
• On-going-Business approach:
• Lead and execute the PepsiCo Franchise LRB Agenda across all Social Beverage categories
• Successfully launch Rockstar Energy Drink
• Develop with the bottler and ensure execution of the AOP in line with the three-year plan and BDA, with clear score carding and course correction
• Lead appropriate engagement with PEP franchise system (GBI, ESSA) to ensure alignment
• Ensure PEP Franchise and bottler is resourced to implement the AOP, Planning of existing bottler and international customers: Volume, Budget, yearly talks (if needed), development of marketing activities, international customer contract prolongations, develop strategies to achieve plan and fall-back alternatives and lead team to handle day-to-day business
• Responsible for developing plans that deliver Brand KPI’s across all Channels and Key Customers within the Bottlers Territory.
• Engage (with GM) with industry stakeholders on key SoBev related matters (ie IBEC)
• Principle Accountabilities
• Primary owner of all Franchise related governance in the Irish market (AOP, BDA, EBA, Global Control Standards)
• Managing the IRE FOBO P&L across all levers
• Assessing and evaluating sales and market data to identify opportunities/challenges and engaging with the bottler to address these
• Identifying and reviewing the appropriate channel and pack strategies (including pack price architecture) and executing these with the bottler
• Responsible for local execution of International Customer contracts, acting as key contact point for Bottler or Sales/International account issues with Bottler
• Support Marketing Manager/ Team in execution of AOP Brand priorities
• Lead Strategy Plan development with alignment of Ireland and Franchise GM
• Responsible for Volume forecasting and reporting by Channel / Account and Pack
• Responsible for searching and leveraging best practice Franchise Management within the PepsiCo system and without
• Responsible for developing ideas and achieve cross functional, border and company alignment on productivity initiatives and “Better together” programmes

Qualifications/Requirements

Required skills and experience
• * Experience in developing and executing Commercial / Sales strategies across multiple channels
• Knowledge of Revenue Management

• Ability to influence at a senior level
• Strong Analytical skills
• Excellent Negotiation skills

• Collaborating & Influencing – establishing relationships quickly and effortlessly
• Excellent communication skills – needed to converse and articulate ideas to all levels of internal & bottler organization.
• Planning skills - Ability to identify potential issues before they happen, & plan/drive action to resolve
