ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Cheese Making Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in the Republic of Georgia. Local cheese makers are requesting volunteer assistance to learn how to make Camembert and Brie cheese. The selected volunteer will help train on proper cheese making methods and sanitation practices.
Due to current travel restrictions, this assignment will take place remotely. The selected volunteer will collaborate with local business leaders, a local volunteer and ACDI/VOCA field staff to complete this assignment. The assignment will last for approximately 1 week for the selected volunteer, spread over 2 weeks when the local volunteer will be working with the host community. **As part of the Farmer-to-Farmer Consortium, this assignment is made possible through USAID funding. In accordance to USAID guidelines, any candidates submitted for consideration under this project must have a valid US passport or Green Card.***
