What You Will Do Further develop and embed restorative practice approaches within the department To design, develop and lead restorative practice training To ensure effective communication between departments, curriculum areas and teams to embed restorative practices To champion the use of restorative approaches across a range of service areas and deliver training to others Facilitate and monitor take up of restorative practice training Identify and implement reporting and monitoring of restorative practices To develop an effective process to record training sessions and training needs To develop an effective registration process To develop awareness of restorative practices and training with the Marketing Team
YOUR PROFILE Degree or equivalent higher level qualification A recognised qualification or significant experience of facilitating restorative practice intervention in settings including behaviour support, wellbeing, pastoral support, health and wellbeing, social care, Human Resources or education Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or above Good understanding of the restorative practices and approaches within education or social care Experience in building and maintaining restorative relationships with young people, professionals and colleagues in a range of settings and acting as an advocate as require Significant experience of delivering restorative approaches and interventions Experience of designing and implementing training across a large organisation Knowledge of relevant IT software including Microsoft applications, Google and experience of setting up and running effective administrative processes Emotional intelligence, an ability to develop effective, resilient relationships with young people, college staff, employers and other stakeholders.
