Overall purpose of job?
This position is responsible for food safety & quality management of tolling and import business of specialty ingredients (lecithin, Deodorized Distillate, VE and PS products, etc) in China, sample analysis in laboratory, also technically support S&I tolling business in Asia.
Responsibilities? Establish and implement QMS and practices for specialty ingredients tolling and import business in... China to comply with applicable regulatory and align with Bunge global QFS policies. Improve laboratory testing methodology of specialty ingredients and monitor the tolling processors and exporters to ensure all the specifications, testing methods aligned. Provide QFS support to the tolling processors and supervise QFS implementation in the tolling processors of specialty ingredients. Organize optimization of QFS certificates and qualifications, such as ISO, Halal, Kosher, etc. to meet customer needs, Monitor and ensure applicability of exporters and tolling processors documentations. Organize QFS audits for the exporters and tolling processor audits to comply with applicable regulatory and meet customer needs and follow up corrective action plan. Coordinate with tolling plant to ensure the food safety & quality management of lecithin and other specialty ingredient aligned with Bunges requirements. Coordinate with exporters and tolling processors to reply customers for QA related matters, like complaint, test methods, new parameters, etc. Technically support other potential S&I business opportunities in Asia. Finish other works arranged by manager.
Requirements: Bachelors degree or above in Food Science/Technology or related subject. 5 years experience on food safety & QA in oils and ingredients in multinational companies, familiar with oils and ingredients production process Fluent in both written and oral English Good communication skill (written and oral) and leadership Capable of developing deep and collaborative cross function relationships Take the lead as coordinator or initiator for project management Strong accountability, execution, plus pressure tolerance in fast growing environment Proficient in application of Office software and data analysis Hold positive outlook on life and values, great teamwork spirit and big-picture mindset
