RUCKUS is in search of a Vice President of Sales to provide leadership, and strategic management of its business in APAC. As the regional leader for APAC this is a critical role responsible for leading, coaching and managing the APAC sales teams, including driving revenue, increasing market share and the development of strong Customer and Partner relationships and new business development.
In this role you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the sales go-to-market strategy across APAC and... work with regional sales management to apply a hands-on approach to driving sales and channel functions.
This key position will ensure sales teams have proper tools, training and programs for success, provide guidance for global best practices and drive training that promotes field effectiveness. This role works with sales, marketing and channel operations finance and supply-chain worldwide. The position will report to the SVP, RUCKUS Global Sales.
Overall revenue and expense management responsibilities for CommScope RUCKUS sales in APAC.
The individual will be responsible for planning, developing and executing regional growth plans and business strategies to maximize market opportunities and drive profitable growth.
Take direct and hands-on responsibility along with your regional leadership teams for the delivery of sales targets for the region as agreed. Determine the extent of business potential and identify the most appropriate points of access to customers, and ensure the optimal utilization of sales and pre-sales resources.
He/She will be an active participant in multiple corporate and strategic planning forums that set sales expansion plans within APAC.
Manage and support key operational functions including budget planning, expense management, forecasting accuracy, customer relationship and pipeline management, effective regional marketing programs and development.
Manage, lead and evolve world class sales and sales engineering technical capabilities to sell products, technologies and services through optimized channels of distribution.
Build and develop excellent channel partner and client relationships across the region.
Lead the evolution of sales strategies to penetrate target markets and expand the business.
Contribute to the overall management of the APAC region. Represent the Sales function of the region and inform the organization about requirements specific to the regions business.
Represent CommScope RUCKUS externally, taking opportunities to inform and educate the market and IT industry through platform speaking, seminars, press and analyst briefings, etc, and spearhead local marketing programs consistent with overall corporate objectives.
Manage successful, accurate sales forecasts to meet or exceed assigned revenue quota, whilst ensuring that the regional sales teams meet assigned quota.
Continue to build and elevate the caliber of the team. Attract and retain top-tier talent throughout the APAC organization, and provide the appropriate training, support, and mentorship to stimulate continuous improvement.
Internally communicate clearly, candidly and appropriately across organizational lines and within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or equivalent essential.
A 10+ years career in sales and sales leadership within the networking industry.
First class track record of building a business based both on solutions sold via channel partners, as well as the ability to drive demand and create preference with major accounts.
Experience growing revenues across multiple Countries.
Successful track record of running a field organization of over 50 people.
Ability to build and manage a well-oiled sales operations/execution machine while implementing a rigorous, measurable and repeatable process.
Functional experiences in sales and business development with experience managing and working with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to personally sell and close large enterprise deals.
Has demonstrated an ability to consistently identify, attract and develop A level sales talent. Able to attract key individuals who have worked for him/her before.

Strong demand generation experience.
A technical aptitude and the ability to credibly articulate high level technical features and benefits.
