Data Scientist Specialist - (CS) - São Paulo/SP (3)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with business stakeholders, aligned with Customer Data Strategy and Customer Insight, to identify analysis goal;
• Gather, extract, manipulate data from a number of databases and sources, and integrate into an analytics-driven data source. Leverage existing data sources and create new ones as needed;
• Perform an exploratory data analysis and choose one or more potential models and algorithms;
• Ensure data integrity and quality to guarantee accurate, reliable and statistically significant results;
• Apply data science methods and techniques (machine learning, statistical modeling, artificial intelligence, etc) and perform business analysis;
• Mitigate the potential risks andfinancial losses that can come from erroneous conclusions and... subsequent decisions;
• Present and distribute analysis results and dashboards, and provide end-user support;
• Document the procedures and process of all analysis and dashboards;
• Identify gaps in data collection needed to support the business needs;
• Partner with Data Analysts, BP IT and IT Team to assess existing marketing dashboards, and how this can be improved through automation and advanced data-integration techniques;
• Partner with Customer Experience Country Activation to gather inputs and to share customer analyses and dashboards.
WHO ARE YOU:
• University degree (master or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics;
• Proven experience in extracting, processing and analyzing large volumes of data;
• Proven experience in data science methods (machine learning, statistical modeling, AI, etc);
• Strong diagnostic and results interpretation;
• Proficient in reporting (MS Excel, Tableau, etc), statistical analysis (R, Python, etc) and big data (Hadoop, etc);
• Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is desirable.
• Location: São Paulo/SP.
