Job Description
You are a Great Fit if:
• You seek a very part-time but, regular opportunity to grow with a young impactful company into a permanent part-time or almost full-time role by 2020

• You truly LOVE nothing more than improving and creating systems, systemizing things, and organizing, and keeping the trains running on time. You LOVE efficiency and are happiest when things are organized, you seek shiny efficiency systems. Proven track record in organizing systems.
• You are naturally detail-oriented. You cross your T's and dot your i's.
• Mac User, no PC only people
• You stick to your commitments and deadlines without fail. Excuses are not ok each week. You assume... responsibility to keep the systems running smoothly.
• In a year from now, you like the idea of a full-time position or permanent part-time position with some % of ownership in the company.
• You are A-ok and experienced with the rollercoaster of startup finances, developing internal systems and internal operations, and are enjoy helping to create systems that stick. You are ok working for a company that is pre-funded and understand finances are up and down.
• You maybe have crowdfunding experience and willing to be a part of that.
• You have a collaborative nature, community person. Strong Team player. Always professional phone, video and email etiquette above all. Communicate appropriately about frustrations, delays, very clear and intentional communicator.
• You seek an entrepreneurial environment: Ideally a good sense of humor, easily adapt to changes, no job too small attitude
• Ideally has some basic graphic design skills, Photoshop, knows Adobe suite, social media
• Solutionist attitude, positive, future-looking individual - can see the big picture, especially when there are challenges.
• No negative Nellys. Seeking Proactive energy, A Do-er.
• Life Learner. Impact Driven. Want the company to succeed. In it to win it.

Hours | Rate in 2019:
• Until July 1 - Starts at 12 hours month x $20/ hour (3 hours a week)
• July-end of the year: Hours will increase to 20 a month
• Might be additional monthly with additional hours on various projects.

Requirements:

> Be based near or in NYC so we can meet in person periodically and meet before hire

> Experienced working effectively remotely and with a remote team, often across timezones

> You are not trying to start your own company or run your own company

> You know basic accounting, have a successful track record in (basic weekly )accounting and a reference or two that can talk about that. We will use a CPA, CFO or tax experts for big things. Must be able to do reports, weekly accounting, never miss an invoice or bill.

> Must know XERO accounting software well. Do not apply if not used to professional accounting systems.

> Must be up to high speed with Zoom, Xero, Asana, Slack, Google Biz Apps Suite, Adobe Suite, Canva, Hootsuite. Must be a Mac User.

> College Degree

> Administrative and Operations experience or some in an entrepreneurial environment.

> Willing to get hands dirty and wear many hats within our young company with little attitude

> Assume responsibility for being a professional relationship builder, understand deeply how important each relationship is or can be, no matter a vendor, contractor, client or new community member. Assume 100% responsibility for professional quick and timely responses, timely correspondence representing our company, mission, with warm and friendly and timely responses to all client admin related issues as with, vendors, contractors, outside relations.

> Help Founder and COO develop HR/ People Ops plans, systems that stick and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.)

> Ongoing work with the founder on initiatives for EDI equal opportunity, diversity, inclusion.

> Assume responsibility to help build Happy People Plans, processes, and best practices, policies. Keep in sync with CEO on people-related issues. In other words, work with founder to help implement our internal culture, transparency and growth.

> Assume responsibility to stay on legal regulations, certifications, renewals, memberships and seek and research opportunities to present to the founder for implementation and applications. Grant experience also welcome!

> Assume responsibility to help track our Carbon Footprint and work with Founder and contractors on aggregating other various company-wide metrics

> Assume responsibility to assist research projects, and some help with documentation requested

> Strong work ethic. Assume responsibility to be responsible and make deadlines.

> Must be a strong writer (sample would be good to see) and naturally interested in the work we do.
