Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Permit to Work Coordinator to be based in Azerbaijan.

Key Responsibilities Responsible for management of all PTW processes in accordance with project procedures. Responsibility for day to day operation of the PTW office. Demonstrate personal HSSE leadership and excellent HSE behaviours at all times, and ensure that safety expectations are communicated and maintained. Attend all mandatory training as specified in HSE, and Permit To Work training schedule. Provide coaching / mentor national... and junior team members as necessary. Plan the issue of work permits and ensure no conflict of interest between planned work tasks. Communicate with the Commissioning Manager, Ops Team Lead & HSE Supervisor if any work conflict identified could result in an unsafe situation that requires one or more activities to be reviewed, suspended or terminated. Communicate to all signatories on the PTW, any work on site that has high-risk potential / SIMOPS issues. Act as main point of contact for operations, construction, commissioning, and vendors permit inquiries. Plan, direct and participate in the permit submission/review/approval process and track PTW progression through all stages of PTW system. Maintain the site plan PTW board ensuring fully up to date at all times Constantly monitor the volume of work permits issued, especially for high risk Hotwork & CSE. Feedback to Site Coordinator to maintain the safe operation of site. Ensure work permits have all accompanying check sheets & control lists submitted. And all work permits have an appropriate task risk assessment attached prior to review by AA and SC. Check that all necessary complementary documents/certificates including, risk assessments, CSE, MSDS, Lift plan, work at height, and isolation certificates are fully approved and attached to required work permits. Confirm all work permits have been fully approved before commencement of any work task or operation and permit issue. Keep track of valid work permits and ensure timely closure of work permits on completion of task or operation. Ensure all expired work permits are closed, cancelled or renewed following the Control of Work procedure. Ensure De-isolated ICCs all are closed out following project Isolation procedure and ICC register is updated accordingly. Maintain accurate records and updating of PTW and ICC data in the CoW system registers. Check that work permits are filled out correctly, clearly and precisely in readiness for the daily PTW meeting. Prepare and participate in daily PTW coordination meeting. Assist other departments with PTW training tasks, provide input when requested Responsible for and ensures strict adherence to LOTO procedure. Ensure no Permit that has an isolation attached is issued without confirming isolation is in place and verified by approved ISO authority. Supervise the management of the PTW and LOTO register, isolation certificates and associated LOTO equipment, keys, tags, lockout devices etc. Provide information and assistance to all PTW PAs for any PTW issues. Minimum Requirements Minimum A recognised qualification from their respective discipline background and native country, or a proven track record RoSPA & CPD Approved Certificate(s) Proven track record of relevant control of work experience in a commisioning environment on onshore or offshore Oil&Gas, Petro-Chemical or Power Industry facilities. Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Commissioning process. Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage. Competent in communicating in English language. Ability to work on own initiative. Good inter-personal and communication skills. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and communicate with discipline engineers and technicians Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings in English.Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
