Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, across Victorias South Eastern coast.
With head office at Wonthaggi Hospital, we serve the municipality with facilities in San Remo & Cowes, and dozens of staff on the road to wherever were needed.
An easy 90-minute drive from Melbourne means were easily commutable for those who havent yet cottoned on that the Bass Coast is the ideal place to live with wineries, fooderies, farms, Phillip Island tourist attractions, the Bunurong Coastal Drive, Wilsons Prom, and miles of beaches, right on our doorstep!

Fixed term - Part-time (Maternity Leave Position)
48 hours per fortnight
Requirements of the position are:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Master of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Member of or eligibility for membership of OT Australia Minimum 2 years experience as an Occupational Therapist with demonstrated clinical skills , knowledge and reasoning in assessment and intervention in an acute, rehabilitation and / or community setting Current Victorian Drivers licence Current Police Check Current Working with Children Check Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Demonstrated expereince working working with clients with range of clinical diagnoses / conditions in both individual & group-based sessions Experience in Complex Home Modifications & Assistive Technology assessment and prescription Sound knowledge and experience accessing range of funding streams, including CHSP, SWEP, DVA NDIS Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in teaching and supervising staff and / or students Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team An understanding of the principles of continuous quality improvement and demonstrated skills and initiative in service development, evaluation, quality activities and / or research Demonstrated ability to impart knowledge to multi-disciplinary staff and to members of the community Demonstrated participation in Professional development Established skills in organisation, planning and priority setting Demonstrated computer skills
