Administration Officer (Casual) Townsville QLD The Townsville Hospital and Health Service is the largest tertiary health service in northern Australia, responsible for the delivery of healthcare services, education and research within a region covering over 149,500km with a population of approximately 250,000 people.
Ingham Health Service provides an integrated service encompassing a range of community-based services, provision of Allied Health services and traditional hospital-based services of an Inpatient Ward, an Emergency Department, a limited range of surgical procedures and a range of support services including X-ray, Pharmacy, Administration and Operational Services.

About your opportunity
The Administration Officer provides quality administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate service delivery within the Ingham Health Service.
There are nil mandatory requirements for this role.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and general public.
Proficiency in the application of computer software for word processing, spreadsheeting and internal hospital information systems.
Ability to provide quality administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team, whilst managing your own workload including the planning and prioritising of tasks to meet deadlines.
Maintain discretion and exercise judgment where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined, ensuring a satisfactory outcome.
Demonstrate high work ethics, the ability to work autonomously and provide ethical decision making in the achievement of department and organisational goals.
Continually seek ways to improve the service via development of professional skills, personal growth and providing feedback on recommendations for improvements to the Line Manager.
Contribute to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, support and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner.
Generous remuneration package comprising salary range of $40.58 to $45.36 p.h. (AO3), 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation.
