Supply Chain Project Manager Sydney NSW What's the role?
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and forward thinking Operations team based at Rhodes, Sydney.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, your next role as the Supply Chain Project Manager will see you manage demand and supply of multiple large business projects with internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of product delivery to VIP customers within required timeframe and budget.

What does the role involve?
Review and record all large business projects on behalf of domestic business and VIP customers
Coordinate meetings with all internal key stakeholders (Sales, Project Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Materials Management, and Channels) to gather all relevant information pertaining to each project
Analyze the business risks involved to provide information required for approval
Based on information gathered, develop project timelines and identify key milestones
Provide relevant information to the respective stakeholders i.e. required stock, timeframe of delivery, mode of preferred transport to meet customer deadlines
Provide weekly and periodical updates after ongoing review of key milestones related to production, shipping and delivery
Proactively support issue resolution and escalation discussions to align business requirements with key stakeholders
Support the communication of large business projects to the Australian leadership management and APAC stakeholders

What do we expect from you? Solid experience with managing multiple key projects at the same time Bachelors degree in operations, logistics, supply chain or related field Experience working in an operations and supply chain/logistics environment Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deliverables Pro-active attitude and excellent relationship management skills Experience working with multiple key stakeholders at various levels Proven success conducting consultative selling approach and high-level service negotiations with Focus Account customers is advantageous Interested in developing a long-term career with Hilti
