The team Enforcement WA (EWA) investigates misconduct and takes formal enforcement action in response to suspected breaches in respect of financial services, market integrity and corporate governance laws. This includes commencing civil proceedings, working with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecution (CDPP) to secure criminal convictions and taking administrative action such as cancelling Australian Financial Services Licenses. EWA consists of three teams: Financial... Services and Credit, Market Integrity and Corporate Governance.
As a Legal Administrator, you will be required to:
provide general administrative support to the team including; supporting meetings by co-ordinating meetings and taking minutes where required, undertaking credit card acquittals, booking travel, photocopying, scanning and printing, organising procurement, arranging deliveries, mail outs through Broad spectrum and archiving assist investigative teams to compile electronic and hard copy folders for counsel briefs and witness interviews, preparation of documents and correspondence and/or other enforcement or administrative related tasks as required conduct searches of ASIC databases to assist team members and update systems coordinate administrative and logistical issues relating to s19 examinations, including WebEx develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working closely with other administrative team members to ensure consistent support across the entire team; and oversee and manage general office operations.
About you You have strong experience providing administrative and business support services. You will be a highly organised, self-motivated individual with a positive approach to work. You are a problem- solver and can prioritise a busy workload and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based environment with an adaptable approach to your work. You are proficient across a variety of software applications, such as Microsoft products and be open to learning and using others. You will also demonstrate a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
