Your new team
We are a team of OHS professionals working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced OHS professional to support the team in: Implementing a culture where safety is integral to the way we perform our work Providing expert advice and effective strategic interventions to eliminate or manage health & safety risks. Implementing preventative strategies; conducting risk assessments; developing and conducting training/education and providing expert advice to ensure RMH complies with its regulatory obligations in the prevention of workplace injuries. Educating our staff to enhance their understanding of OH&S legislation, regulations and codes.
Your success in this role, will be in your ability to Act as a consultant and resource with regard to Occupational Health and Safety. Utilise knowledge, skills and experience to make recommendations related to OH&S best practice to department managers and staff. Assist in policy and procedure development to ensure personal and organisational safety performance is paramount within Royal Melbourne Hospital. Participate in investigations and audits relevant to the OH&S Department and Divisional responsibilities. Assist in the development of Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures for Royal Melbourne Hospital in conjunction with other relevant parties.
Your Contribution Ability to provide strong leadership in implementing OHS prevention and risk management strategies. Proven track record in driving change across a complex health care environment. Energetic, self-motivated OHS professional with the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.
