Our Client is a well known within the Building Materials Sector and as an AS/NZS ISO 9001 approved organisation is looking for a dynamic and experiences Safety Manager to join their team and ensure ongoing compliance.
This role will be suited for a candidate with 5+ years within the Safety Sector. The right candidate will have a background working in the areas of Safety, People Management and HR to ensure a high level of strategic direction and application of contemporary Safety and HR Practices.
As the WHS Manager, you will identify ongoing organisation needs from a Workplace Health & Safety and Risk Management perspective. This position reports to... the General Manager and will be responsible for the following: Develop and Implement Safety Strategy, Health & Safety Programs and Training Services Provide Safety Committee with Leadership and Direction Develop, implement and review the organisation's Safety management system and supporting policies Conduct WHS Audits, Inspections and Investigations Assist in the development of HR Practices including resource planning and retention/performance management A Full Position Description will be provided to shortlisted applicants.
