About the Opportunity
Based in the Network Performance Insights (NPI) team, this role works in partnership with divisional analytic and data and systems teams to deliver integrated insights and information tools that anticipate needs of senior decision makers and maximise the potential for evidence-based decision making.
About You Demonstrated extensive experience in all aspects of developing and enhancing large volumes of complex data, drawing inferences and generating comprehensive reports, analyses and impactful advice on operational performance. Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and specialist problem solving skills to oversee the integration of data and tools to provide best possible decision support and evaluation of road network performance and customer experience. Demonstrated experience in the development and communication of complex technical specifications and business requirements. Extensive knowledge and experience of computer-based systems and tools in a performance analysis environment. Ability to provide authoritative expert advice to executive audiences on complex issues within own area. Participates in divisional strategic planning and contributes to divisional strategic decision-making process. Well-developed people leadership capability, with the ability to motivate employees and champion their continuing development, role model organisational values, and align teams with organisational priorities. Demonstrated experience in the management of high performing teams. Excellent verbal and written technical and non-technical communications skills, with the ability to powerfully communicate on complex issues with stakeholders of all levels, and establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. An agile mindset, with demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams to drive and deliver complex data-driven solutions in an agile manner.
