We are currently seeking an experienced facilities professional who takes pride in contributing to exceptional building operations and presentation standards to manage clients office and industrial assets across the eastern region of Melbourne.
As part of our wider Real Estate Management division, you will manage key relationships with tenants and service providers, whilst also making recommendations to improve the performance of our clients assets. Your ability to manage budgets effectively and contribute to investment plans to maximise asset values will also be key, as will the ability to control costs and expenditure.
In this role you will; Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building services Mitigate all areas of risk for both Colliers International and its client Provide maintenance advice ensuring clients quality and safety targets are met Ensure all planned preventative maintenance programmes are clearly documented and maintained Oversee project-based work including fit-outs and refurbishments Identify new business opportunities
You will possess previous facilities or building management experience in an office or industrial environment as well as hold an understanding of building services systems. In addition, you will have the ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to deliver outcomes for Colliers and the client.
Quality assurance standards and relevant Australian codes of practice, A/C, electrical and engineering backgrounds will be highly regarded.
This position offers the right candidate a great opportunity to work in a professional corporate building services environment as part of a specialised team.
The role requires the successful applicant to visit and inspect the assets within, which will require you to have strong time management skills as a certain amount of time will be spent travelling from asset to asset as part of the role.
