About your opportunity To provide routine radiation therapy services within a diverse team of radiation Therapists with various skills and abilities to oncology patients whilst working as a member of a team in the following clinical areas:
Radiation Therapy Treatment Unit and Radiation Therapy Planning Unit.
Salary range of $2588.80 to $3805.00 p.a. (HP3), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Bachelor of Applied Science (Radiation Therapy) or recognised equivalent from a recognised Tertiary Institution. Membership with the Australian Institute of Radiography. Current registration or eligible for registration in by AHPRA. Be eligible to obtain a Queensland Health Radiation Use Licence for Radiation Oncology Therapists and be in receipt of a Use Licence within one (1) year from the date of commencement of employment with the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Proven knowledge of radiation therapy principles and procedures and treatment planning principles. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Proven knowledge and ability to apply radiation therapy treatment and planning principles.
