Parliamentary Library Officer Capital Hill ACT The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for Parliamentary Library Officer vacancies within the Library Collections & Databases Branch. From this recruitment process the Library will create a merit pool of suitable candidates to fill ongoing and non-ongoing PSL4 positions that might arise over the next 12 months.
This is an ongoing opportunity within the Digitisation Projects team, working to quality assure digital assets and metadata from our historic collections.
Library Officers carry out tasks in many areas of the Parliamentary Library and those drawn from the merit pool could expect to undertake a range of duties associated with the provision of services to library clients, including collection management, digitisation, data processing and administration.
We are looking for applicants with strong client focus, attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. We require flexible, proactive... individuals with an understanding of library practices.
