As a Solutions Architect for Megaport, you'll have the ability to work with an industry leading technology that enables cloud networking solutions via a globally connected software defined network. You'll interact with the top hyper-scale and cloud solution partners around the world, and develop innovative network solutions to meet the changing needs of Enterprises in a data driven world.
Our ideal Solutions Architect will have a history of successfully designing and implementing layer 2 and layer 3 network based solutions with a strong background in cloud computing. This candidate will be able to drive technical solutions with senior engineering and business leaders within our customer and partner base. Using their technical background and the skills to train and enable Megaport partners to utilize Megaport services, they'll also be driving direct technical discussions with Enterprise customers. What you will be doing Support sales opportunities for Megaport by creating and delivering demonstrations to customers and cloud sales partners, product education and presentations for use by the Sales Team, specifically as it pertains to integration with our cloud partners product sets. Ability to understand and articulate partner and customer business requirements, develop corresponding solution architecture design leveraging Megaport and partner services. Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Megaport product and solutions, competitive products, as well as the products of our key cloud services partners (Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle, Alibaba, IBM, Nutanix, SAP) and transfer such knowledge to the Sales and Marketing team as well as to our authorized sales partners. Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Megaport's software, API, and be able to engage in technical discussions with our customers, prospects, and prospective partners. Partner and collaborate with the broader Asia Pacific sales team to drive partner relationships. Autonomy over developing network architecture content for external partners. Working with our partners to develop restful API and Terraform integrations, while enhancing Megaport's current offerings.
What we are looking for Strong technical background in designing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures, preferably with a background in enterprise cloud deployments Hands on experience with Terraform and API integrations a plus Strong customer presentation and public speaking capabilities; small groups to workshop level events. Experience in designing or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customer environments is highly desired. Understanding of Carrier Networks in terms of connectivity across the APAC and ASEAN landscape. Experience working within the Enterprise software market or Internet industries is highly desired.
