Job Description
Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support and technical expertise to both Service Provider and Enterprise customers and partners.

Responsibilities:
Provide pre-sales technical leadership and expert guidance to Arista Networks customers and partners
Work in-depth and hands-on with the customer and POC teams to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and features
Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support
Provide direct feedback to product management and engineering, engage in the product development process
Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and... services
Author whitepapers and articles on technology and products
Qualifications
BSCS/CE technical degree required
Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, MPLS, VXLAN
Expertise in at least one area of related technologies - storage, financial trading, Web2.0 applications, HPC or kubernetes
Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
Knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages: bash, python or go.
Ability to write white papers a plus
CCIE certification a plus
