Job Title: Recycling Hand /Sorter/Labourer
Polytrade Recycling is a key player in the recycling and waste industry. We are an Australian owned business focused on generating environmental, economic and social benefits through waste recycling and re-processing of fully commingled recyclables such as paper/plastic/metals & glass.
Right now, we are looking for a reliable and trustworthy person/s to work in our waste warehouse in Chinderah to physically sort and check kerbside products, materials, contaminates from a conveyor and remove waste without damaging plant and equipment.
Essential requirements for this role:
OK to get your hands dirty (wearing PPE)
OK to deal with repetitive work
OK to work in a waste environment
OK to undertake cleaning of site and equipment
Must have steel cap boots
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
A commitment to work health safety
Able to work 8-hour shifts
You have manual handling... experience
A commitment to customer service
Satisfactory written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced waste environment
