The Leisure facilities team focus on the delivery of customer centric services and programs that meet the health and wellbeing needs of Campbelltowns growing population.
We are seeking a customer focused Aquatic Supervisor with experience in coordinating the delivery of centre based aquatic programs that meets the needs of Campbelltowns growing community. The Aquatic Supervisor role provides leadership and support to a team of swimming instructors.

This role works on a fortnightly rotating roster: Week 1: Monday 9:30am-6pm, Tuesday to Friday 10am-6pm Week 2: Tuesday to Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 8am-12noon
As an Aquatic Supervisor, you will be responsible for: The provision of a range of centre based aquatic programs that are delivered in a cost effective way and meet the communitys needs. The development and coordination of all pool based programs including swim school, schools programs and birthday parties. Working collaboratively with the Aquatic Supervisor and Casual Learn to Swim Instructor team to ensure a uniform and professional delivery of the Learn to Swim program. Ensuring all aquatic programs are consistent with other Leisure Facilities set Learn to Swim program criteria. Liaising with the Head Swim Coach to ensure an effective and efficient system is implemented to track squad attendance and payments. Monitoring bookings, retention rates and payments for all aquatic based programs. Providing reports to the Leisure Centre Team Leader and Leisure Centre Supervisor on attendance, occupancy, retention and bookings for each program. Ensuring aquatic program staffing levels are met. Facilitating team meetings and workshops to ensure consistent communication across the Swim School team and to maximise team development in line with the set Learn to Swim program criteria. Maximising conversion rates through assisting with the development of quality participation and retention strategies. Assist with the instruction of classes when required to ensure the professional delivery of Councils Learn to Swim program.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: Industry relevant experience coordinating and planning aquatic based programs and providing leadership and support to a swim school team. High level communication and customer service skills and experience in a fast paced customer service environment. Possess a current Industry recognised Learn to Swim Instructor Certificate (AUSTSWIM: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety and/or Swim Australia: Swim Australia Teacher Certificate). Possess qualifications in any of the following: AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics; AUSTSWIM Teacher of Adults; AUSTSWIM Teacher of Toward Competitive Strokes and/or AUSTSWIM Teacher of People with a Disability or equivalent. Possess a Resuscitation Certificate and current WorkCover approved First Aid Certificate. Experience managing a client database and booking system.
