Your new role
Leidos has the privilege of supporting many federal government departments that keep our nation safe from growing and ever-changing challenges and threats. With the increasing digitalisation of the world, this introduces a number of challenges to not only our national security, however, to our everyday lives. Your Key Focus Will... Be
The CTO/Chief Architect role will be the most senior technical role on a large IT program including platform services, applications modernisation and service management. Design artefact preparation Produces architecture and design artefacts for Leidos delivery Preparing long-range technology plans/roadmaps Produce generic patterns/templates for technical governance Customer/supplier engagement Building strong working relationships with customer and suppliers Conduct workshops and delivery presentations with diverse stakeholder groups Eliciting requirements from the customer (executives, technologists, security, end-users, management) Advising customers on strategic direction and planning Engaging with competitors, partners and vendors in aligning program scope for mutual success Technology thought-leadership Provide technical input to all aspects of the program (tenders, engineering, commercial, project, legal, organisational change, support, security) Governance and oversight of all technical solutions/decisions Guide engineering teams on best practices Qualifications
Skills Systems architecture and design Verbal communication (workshops, presentations) Technical documentation (architecture descriptions, detailed designs, requirement specs) Negotiation skills and relationship building
Successful candidates will be required to be Australian Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance. NV-2 Clearance preferred, but an NV-1 cleared candidate with strong experience and team fit will be considered.
