The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of

About the Role
VCA Design is seeking an experienced practitioner and academic
to provide academic leadership, artistic vision and deep
professional connectedness, within at least one of the fields of
graphic, electronic and interactive design in the Victorian College
of the Arts, at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, in
collaboration with the Faculty of... Architecture, Building and
Planning and the wider University. This is a part time (0.7
FTE), continuing role.
About you
You will be recognised as an outstanding and well-respected
design professional and experienced academic with the vision and
capacity to contribute to the strategic vision and build the
teaching, learning and research within VCA Design. You will have
strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills and a
demonstrated track record of innovative curriculum design, research
outputs and teaching expertise.
Location
Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of
Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbournes major arts and
cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of
great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of
the Botanical Gardens close by.
