Are you skilled and experienced in any of the following therapies CBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, DBT, Schema Therapy, trauma recovery treatments, LiCBT and other evidence based therapies?
Summit Health is seeking Clinicians Accredited in one of the following professions: Psychologists (either registered or clinical) Accredited Mental Health Social Workers Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapists AHPRA Registered Nurses with Tertiary Mental Health Qualifications
These are the only Accreditations allowed in our programs, so please do not apply unless you have one of these Accreditations.
About Us Summit Health provides Primary Health Services across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island, with our main office in Mount Barker.
Our Mental Health Unit Clinicians provide counselling and psychological therapy to clients... referred to us by GPs across these regions. These services are located in a number of counselling spaces in regional centres including Gumeracha, Lobethal, Stirling, Mount Barker, Strathalbyn, Goolwa, Middleton, Victor Harbor, Yankalilla, Kingscote and other centres as required.
Services are targeted to populations that are economically vulnerable. Our free programs are funded by the Commonwealth through Country SA Primary Health Network (CSAPHN), and are alternatives to the Medicare Better Access programs.
We seek to work in collaboration with Community Mental Health Services, not-for-profit service providers and private clinicians in a stepped care CSAPHN framework. Our clients are on the low to high range of the stepped care model.
The roles (more than one) 1. MH Clinicians for Middleton - Goolwa. Up to 4 days per week available.
2. MH Clinicians for Mt Barker - Hills. Part time up to Full time available.
3. Maternity Contract May 21 - Feb 22. 3 days per week Mt Barker.
We endeavour to be a high level supportive clinical environment. This is a busy clinical service suited to clinicians who are self-motivated, clinically experienced, thorough with documentation, comfortable working independently and supportive of other clinicians and administrative staff.
Clinicians will be engaged in one or more of our creative and responsive clinical programs including our: Psychological Therapies program Shared Care Program LiCBT CBT Groups and Bushfire Recovery Work
Experience working with both adults and children is desirable.
Clinicians need to be willing to work across our regional sites and to assist in providing out of hours provisions if required. Having a drivers licence and your own transport is essential.
Summit Health supports Clinicians in their ongoing development and accreditation.
Mental Health Clinicians Full time and Part time roles available Allied Health Levels 1 and 2 $75,364 $89,371 depending on Skill and Experience Summit Health offers flexible working hours and salary sacrifice packaging.
