What we're looking for:
As our Lead Sales Engineer, you will provide technical support to sales reps and partners on customer deals across the sales cycle by leveraging strong technical knowledge of Citrix solutions. Drives development of technical offering to meet customer business needs under the guidance of product specialists and/or ERM/CAM account reps. Supports enterprise, corporate, and mid-market accounts, working with Citrix resources and channel/Alliance partners to define offering and develop solutions, coordinated by Product Sales Specialist where present. Provides insight on technology trends, product developments, and... technical capabilities, engaging with the customer to drive technical understanding of solution and value for business needs. Providing expertise in technical sales presentations to address issues/objections, conducting technical presentations and/or demonstrations. Enable partners Sales Engineers to define offerings, develop solutions and communicate with customers in Growth and Emerging markets.
The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching Citrix technology solutions to achieve the mission or objectives of Public Sector customers in Germany. In this role, you will be a meaningful element of our sales organization by driving sales with your technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability, and outstanding customer focus. You will also assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix products and solutions and participate.
Primary Responsibilities Support the assigned Citrix sales team from a technical perspective for opportunities in a pre-sales support capacity. Provide a role within the sales teams in assessing potential application of Citrix products to meet customers business needs. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations on Citrix products value proposition You will develop customer requirements that map to Citrix solutions assists with overcoming competitive objections, and accelerates technical evaluation component of the sales cycle to close deals. Leverage the consultative sales process to prospective users to resolve product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process. You'll serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for Citrixs vision and associated technologies. Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales engineering management. You will consistently provide a contribution to the broader teams technical mindshare. Your expertise allows you to build sophisticated, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Engineering experience in a high-tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Windows Desktops and Server Management; including troubleshooting server and desktop builds, active directory, group policy, and TCP/IP networking knowledge. Experienced ability to motivate, proactively train oneself, provide trainings for others, and conduct seminars. Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills. You understand and can deploy technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business use cases, and technically close deals. You'll articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy to a technical level of detail for their technical area of focus. Possesses high level of specialized/hands-on Citrix product knowledge. Citrix Certifications a plus. Government/Public Sector experience a plus
