The Lieutenant's Pump is a British Pub located in Downtown Ottawa on the well known Elgin Street. The restaurant is surrounded by the ever bustling Centretown lifestyle, which makes their street level patio the perfect place to relax, enjoy drinks, good food, great conversation, or simply just people watch. For drinks the Lieutenant's Pump has an extensive wine list available, as well as their mason jar cocktails and in house specialty drinks, such as their Mojito made with fresh mint. They also have various beers available on tap. Keep in made, some selection for their beers available may alter with what's in season and what isn't.
Their menu consists of hearty, authentic pub food, but with a unique flair. They have anything, from lunch specials that can satisfy even the fussiest palate, as well as larger feasts for sit-down dinner guests, and their light snacks or finger foods that are perfect to share with friends and family along with a few drinks.

The Lieutenant's Pump's (or "The Pump", as it's affectionately known) brunch is served from 8:30am to 2:30pm on every Saturday and Sunday. Only a few of the items included on their Weekend Brunch menu, include:
Eggs any style with freshly made homefries and your choice of toast
Omlettes with your choice of ingredients
And fresh sandwiches
Most of the options available for the weekend brunch include a side of fresh, seasonal fruit
Special diets are recognized and taken into consideration at The Pump, as they wish to be able to serve anyone who walks through their doors. Their menu consists of several vegetarian items, along with the option to customize some of their existing menu items and turn it into a vegetarian option. Another diet option they have, is gluten free items. Much like those with a vegetarian diet, not only do they have their choice of solely gluten free items, but existing items can be altered to become gluten free as well.
