The Manx was first established in 1993, and for over two decades they have been a social spot for many of Ottawa's artists, art enthusiasts, and those who enjoy good food, great drinks and wonderful company. At the Manx, they consider themselves connoisseurs of the pub scene, and that couldn't be more accurate. They have some of Ottawa's best craft beer and scotch selections. Also, they serve up delicious, constantly changing dinner specials, and their renowned brunch.
The Manx goes above and beyond in all that they do, whether it's the delicious food that they serve, their unique pub setting with an artistic flair and elegant atmosphere, or their selection of whiskeys, beers and wines, which could easily go up against any of Ottawa's finest pubs without breaking a sweat. Their selection of drinks are both domestic, such as wines from Niagara, beers from Ontario, etc. But a large portion of the choices available at The Manx are made up of international drinks, such as wines from Italy, beers from Germany, whiskeys from the U.S. and Germany, and so many other options.
Their whiskey list alone features over 50 types from all over the globe, including Jack Daniel's, Jameson, Greenspot, Ardbeg, Springbank, Singleton and Abelor. Their list of Draught Beers includes 24 different types, both domestic and international, such as: Guinness, Steamwhistle Pilsner, Mill St. Tankhouse Ale, and Harp Lager, Their wine list is less extensive as the previous two, but rest assured that the bottles available are of only the finest quality with a versatile enough selection to suit any tastes. Only a few of the wines available are Six Rows Shiraz, Fuerza Malbec, Estrada Creek Chardonnay, and Venetio Pinot Grigio.
