Biomedical Service Engineer (On-Site)
Location: Mainz
The company is a manufacturer of Biomedical equipment for In Vitro Diagnostics testing. Their products are used for the screening and monitoring of various diseases, primarily in the areas of Oncology, Diabetes, Hemoglobinopathy and other rare pathologies.
They now have an opportunity to join their team as the In-House Biomedical Service Engineer
The Position
Provide telephone support on biomedical instruments for technical questions and problems from customers in Germany.
Support and advise customers on instrument handling.
Position is located from the office in Mainz.
Planning technical operations to eliminate faults.
Documentation of faults in the ERP system.
Occasional repairs in our service workshop.
Supporting on a range of Analyzers and Automation devices for In Vitro Diagnostics.
Working closely with the service and support team in Germany.
The Requirements
Educated in a Scientific or Engineering field... Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Medical Technology / Medizintechnik, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; or related field.
Knowledge of laboratory / biomedical equipment.
Passion for cutting edge technology; electronics, fluidics, optics, mechanics.
Languages: Fluent German and English language essential.
